o2-usa/UMW, o2-usa, and o2 are a loose group of design, engineering, and marketing professionals concerned with their impact on the environment. There are no paid positions at o2-usa/UMW. Membership fees for o2-usa/UMW go directly to sponsor conferences and special speakers and to help support the o2-UMW and national o2-USA websites. Meetings will be scheduled as need and opportunity arise (conference planning, special speaker, etc.). Primary communication between members is through e-mail.

*For the Minnesota group, services you contribute earn "Paid" membership status, but more importantly, your time counts towards matching grant funding for the group.

We need: Web design, graphic design, printing, bookkeeping, office stuff, marketing/promotion, evangelists (getting the word out about o2), lecturers, and Green Drinks hosts.

"Paid" membership befits include:
- Reduced registration fees for o2 sponsored events.
- Opportunity for conference display space for individual members or their company.
- A link on the o2-UMW website to your company's page to tell the world you care enough to support green design.
- A really nifty membership certificate suitable for framing.*
- An o2-UMW tote bag.*
- The pride of knowing you're making a difference.

Members affiliated with professional organizations in their field, or other sustainability groups, looking for emotional and promotional support for their greening efforts, enjoy extra benefits. Affiliate Group members can call on the o2-UMW membership volunteer corps. Let us know what we can do!
